£260 million. The largest quantum Series C ever raised anywhere in the world.
That’s what our portfolio company Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC), announced this week — and we couldn’t be more proud.
As one of the few VC firms in the world solely dedicated to quantum technology, moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. We backed OQC in 2023 because we saw a team that wasn’t just doing interesting science, they were building real infrastructure for a quantum-powered world.
This raise confirms the market sees exactly the same thing.
Congratulations to Gerald Mullally and the entire (OQC) team. This is a landmark moment for British quantum tech.
