We’re delighted to announce a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Physics,
strengthening our collaboration to accelerate the UK’s quantum technology ecosystem.
Our partnership coincides with the latest news of the UK government announcing a pioneering £2
billion investment in quantum technology, positioning Britain as the first country in the world to roll
out quantum computers at scale. This investment projects an estimated £212 billion impact on the
UK economy by 2045.
Together, we’ll support early‑stage quantum start-ups at the IOP Accelerator in King’s
Cross—combining world‑class scientific infrastructure with investment, mentoring and commercial
expertise.
This partnership also continues our sponsorship of the qBIG Prize, backing the next generation of
quantum innovators.
